I'm a passionate hobbyist photographer and a dedicated history professor at a community college. My love for photography sparked at the young age of 12, when I started developing pictures in my makeshift bathroom darkroom. This early interest led me to be an active part of my high school yearbook staff, where I honed my skills behind the lens.
Today, I indulge in creating artistic fashion, glamour, and beauty photographs. My work is a playful blend of creative lighting and imaginative Photoshop composites. Photography for me is not just about capturing moments; it's an art of storytelling, a way to express beauty and emotions in still frames.
When I'm not peering through the viewfinder, you'll find me immersed in the world of history, sharing my knowledge and passion with my students. My dual love for the lens and the past defines who I am – a storyteller at heart, whether it's through captivating images or engaging lectures.
I reside in Central Illinois with my wife of 30 years, and we are the proud parents of four children.
